"Lovely room amazing breakfast and choice. Was busy at breakfast time but plenty for all. Rooms was very clean and update. Could do with air conditioning. Lovely pool again very busy at times. Steam room small. Just overall busy but nice hotel. "
"Booked here for a trip to Nottingham (as prices in the City itself were prohibitive). Located by rail and tram stops, the Hotel was ideal for my purpose, and an affordable price. Welcoming and frienly staff. Excellent pub food with a great range of local ales on offer. Basic room and facilities suitable for my visit and fairly reflected in the price. I found the bed a little uncomfortable but thats probably just down to personal preferences, so all-in-all an excellent base for my stay."

"Another restful stay at this lovely hotel. It’s always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The bar /restaurant is excellent. We normally stay weekdays and it’s pretty quiet but it’s a near perfect wedding/party venue so I would imagine it’s pretty busy and maybe not so restful at the weekends. It’s situated near but not in the Peak District in lovely surroundings. Hopefully we’ll be back again sometime."

"Great for Peak District, lively pub with atmospheare...well prepared food at reasonanle prices and nice and quiet after 11 or so.... full breakfast with options. Really enjoyed a one nighr stop and would return whrn next out hiking!"

"Was a lovely little room. Clean and cozy.
Down points are that room was too hot with no means to cool it down and no spoons or stirrers to make the drinks.
Would deffo recommend but if your like me and get hot too quick then ask for a room with aircon."
"We had a really lovely night here. We came up to stay for a sports competition. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and made a special effort for us to have an early breakfast. The rooms were fine and clean. The rooms are basic but it's a good price for it. Beds were comfy.
We ate in the restaurant, and the food and service was fabulous!
Would happily stay again if I was in the area."
