"Interesting lodging. Feels a lot like a college dorm set up. Small rooms with small balconies with shared bathrooms, shared kitchen and a living space with TV. It felt like a good value for Norway, which tends to be expensive. We'd stay there again. "

We went for breakfast at 730 and there wasnt much, old salad, a little ham, salami and cheese, a plate of watermelon and breads and crackers. "We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras and even freshly cut sandwiches and freshly baked pastries . The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful .the downstairs decor was modern annd our room was big annd spacious with comfortable beds . All in all I would throughly recommend . Without a doubt the best food we have eaten in Norway 😃😃"
