"- We were charged $20 to check in 40 mins early but not compensated for leaving the property 90 mins early. + room was clean-ish and overlooked the creek - We booked a 2 queen room and we're given a king. When I immediately called the front desk she told me I booked a King and when I asked if she would like me to show her my confirmation she said yes. I wasn't going to let this person ruin the graduation weekend so I dropped it. + ample parking - 2 Surge protectors in the room and one had a microwave AND the fridge plugged into it (safety hazard) - no outlet on one of the sides of the bed which is why we always ask for 2 queens - the sheets would not stay on! 3 nights waking up tangled because the sheets didnt fit. - furniture was dated and oddly sticky - breakfast was a joke. We went the first morning and never returned. I literally got a hard rubber piece of "scrambled egg". The staff at check in made it seem like they were slammed and very busy for the grad weekend but we barely saw anyone. This was our first and last time at this hotel. We made it work but it wasn't ideal and the staff was not helpful or even friendly."

"For a quick inexpensive fix, there's nothing quite like the Lodge. The beds were relatively comfortable, the showers were clean, and the air conditioner was just what we were looking for during this warm weekend. However, our room did include some unnecessary artwork on the lampshade and there is an intense smell of cigarette smell throughout the entire hotel, despite our room being non-smoking. Bring your good smelling friends and ask for a waffle in the morning! Made fresh by the staff!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE! I go to Bellingham often because I have a WWU student. I try out different hotels because why not. This is not the one for anyone. For $145ish I didn’t expect much, but 1) it’s a Wyndam property so I thought it would at least meet minimum standards 2) I expect cleanliness. No conditioner. This is the most FILTHY property I have ever stayed at anywhere, not just Bellingham. The hotel is nice in the lobby, but as soon as you leave it the property turns to garbage. It advertised having a pool and hot tub, upon arrival we found them filled with concrete. Staff was pleasant at check in. We, my daughter and I, head to the room and notice all the doors look beat in and battered. The walls were dirty. We enter our room, 210, we walked in and I said “we can’t stay here it’s so dirty”. The walls in our room looked to not have been cleaned in ages. The microwave wasn’t dusted and had swipe marks in it from the prior guest, I wrote gross in it for the next guest. The bathroom toilet was dirty and had public hair on it. The walls in the bathroom are filthy, as is the door, and the tub was not well cleansed. We stayed because I’m disabled and couldn’t keep going to go find a new place and lose my payment for leaving without 24 hour notice. The beds were clean and comfortable at least. Please look at my photos. I’ll add as many as this review will allow. Bonus points, put room had no screen on the window and it opened all the way! We slept with the window open."
