"I used to come here years ago when hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail which is just down the road a bit; the rebrand is exceptional, with super, super clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, super clean grounds, 100% smoke free and a Dunkin attached to the hotel! What’s there not to love! Great job!"

"Fantastic hotel. Everything was clean , and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows it age, but they do a great job keeping everything up to date. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast, but tasted great and fresh. The pool was warm and I enjoyed that they keep it open until 10pm. I was able to take a quick dip after dinner. The pool is a heated as well."

Someone who has been in hospitality for over 15 years i understanding things can be missed unintentionally so it doesn't bother me as much. But it would help if the rooms were double checked."

"We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. "This was a great place to take my granddaughter her last day of school. She loves swimming. Pools are to cold ocean is freezing. Pool was very clean and hot tub very relaxing. Suggestion for pool area have a bathroom in or closer to pool rather then lounge and check in desk. Lounge is great every night they have something going on. You don’t have to stay but optional. "The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. "I enjoyed the stay and one of the highlights was the free breakfast. They offered a variety of bagels and muffins along with coffee and orange juice. Cereal and milk was also there along with boiled eggs in the mini fridge. Saturday morning they had a waffle maker and it was delicious. "Hotel was conveniently located by the Sherman Theater where we had tickets to a show. We were able to walk to & from & felt safe walking at night. Staff was very personable & accommodating. Breakfast had a variety of choices & coffee was always available. Room was clean & beds/pillows comfortable. Only negative was odor in room & hall that was heavily scented with air freshener. We would stay here again when in town for a show."

Found bed bugs, pool had some molding around the edges and by chairs, pool and gym had codes in order to get in the doors which we needed to do about 3 times in order for them to work. "Check in was easy. Friendly staff. Cute place. Looks like an older home with common areas that you're welcome to use. I booked the twin bed room and it was clean and comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. Pictures of rooms and the grounds were accurate. The only thing that I wish was different was the rug in the room. I wouldve preferred tile or wood. However I would still stay here again if Im ever in the area. Also close to town, shops, restaurants."
