Excellent cozy hotel

We stopped here on our way up north and it was perfect for the night. Cozy hotel during the winter time with lights in all the windows, a fire place, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our children had fun playing ping-pong, billiards and we visited the relax area with a bubble pool and sauna, you can book for 1 hour exclusively. The restaurant had excellent food! Beds were comfortable and our family room was nice and spacious. The only room for improvement would be bathroom renovations.

Beautiful views of Lake Siljan. Lovely well situated hotel. Beautiful and classic design with furniture and layout. Lovely sauna suite with view from sauna. Great breakfast. The only thing to mention is only one vegetarian/vegan option at dinner that wasn't up to scratch. But according to my travel partner the other dishes were excellent.

Att bo på Lerdalshöjden är en fantastisk upplevelse. Trevlig personal, generösa utrymmen, betagande utsikt, gott om plats till att sitta ute eller inomhus. Alltid finns det fika som ingår. Det här hotellet måste upplevas. Går inte att hitta många i denna klassen.

Hotellet erbjuder WiFi samt möjligheten att koppla din telefon till tvn för att kunna casta program och se dem via rummets tv. Dock var denna funktion väldigt underdimensionerad då många gäster använder det samtidigt vilket innebar att nätet blev överbelastat och därmed obrukbart för oss, det fungerade dock vid ett tillfälle men sedan fungerade det inte igen. Dåligt att man inte säkerställt nätets kapacitet på ett hotell även om det är många gäster som använder det samtidigt.

Trevlig personal och rent rum. Dock kunde hotellet behöva ett ansiktlyft då det mesta var lite "gammaldags". Bra mat i restaurangen ska tilläggas. Ingen luftkonditionering och ganska lyhört mellan rummen och ut till korridoren. Bra frukost!
