"Room was clean, comfortable bed. Hot tub was nice.
Breakfast was terrible. Needs more equipment to keep up with the demand. Also need to add more seating to cover the amount of people. "
"The cutest little drive up motel, with super clean beds, showers, and rooms. Rooms are decorated with a vintage 60’s and 70’s decor, which took me back to my childhood. I felt like I was visiting Radiator Springs! It was really the coolest and cleanest experience I’ve had, and I’m a super picky mom of 5. "
"The property is a walk down memory lane. Feels like a step back to the1980s. The room was old but clean. Bedding was adequate and king bed very comfortable. Sheets and towels certainly not luxurious feeling but plentiful. Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the motel was not open on Tuesday and the advertised breakfast was a continental type. Over-all for the price the stay was acceptable. "
"Very basic place to sleep for under $100 if you are road weary and need to rest. Close to off ramp.Older building & bedding that shows it's age. Use caution on stairs as some of the "nose trim" was loose and could be a trip hazard.
Toilets are VERY LOW!!! ( Don't recommend if you have bad knees or hips!
Free breakfast was dry cereal, milk, bread, bagels and bitter coffee. "
"After staying here for the first time last year I was absolutely impressed with how clean everything was so I’ve been booking here since and always satisfied however this time I almost turned around and walked out as the night manager couldn’t have been more rude and unprofessional! I had made 2 reservations by mistake and he was verbally disrespectful and acted like I the guest was putting him out just being there my suggestion is make it mandatory that he cleans his personal appearance up and retrain him! Sadly this experience has made vow not to stay here anymore unless he isn’t working as this was in my opinion the best hotel in Raton NM and last complaint is the “Continental breakfast” is nothing more than instant oatmeal dry bagels donuts and juice other than a waffle…….. being how this chain is Wyndham Hotels I would expect a proper “Continental Breakfast” "
"The hotel is currently under major construction! Flooring was being installed in the lobby during our stay and the property felt like a job site. Guests should be notified of renovations before booking. The bathrooms downstairs near lobby were out of order. The breakfast drinks were hot. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough as it felt like we were dancing around a job site. "
