"The room was cozy and warm with a large window and window seat. Premium toiletries, lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Lovely updated bathroom. Steps from the bus line and many restaurants within 2 blocks. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions about where to eat and find live music. Safe neighborhood setting. Mother and daughter traveling together. Excellent coffee and very nice breakfast buffet. "

"Lovely staff on check in, ended up getting into the room early as it happened to be ready. Breakfast had an excellent selection, and fantastic quality. Late check out was great for us, we got to enjoy the hotel Spa facilities were nice, steam room was incredibly hot which i like but would understand if others didn't. It could have done with a bit of a deep clean though. Perfect location in the old part of Edinburgh, a 5 minute walk to the castle. Next time we come north i think we will end up...
