It totally served the purpose. Clean and tidy, friendly staff, and an excellent location. Not only just over the road from the beach, but a very popular restaurant was only a short walk away. We would go back again to Raina Holiday accommodation.
Lovely area, convenience store close by which was amazing, and best burger cafe 5min walk away!

This accommodation was perfect for our needs
Short walk across the road to amazing snorkelling
Charlie’s cafe also just over the road with access to free wifi
Short drive to Muri beach village for more dining, night markets, beautiful lagoon for all sorts of water sports and scuba dive shop
Everyone at this property was so nice and friendly. Our flight got canceled and we booked in short notice. They allowed us to check in early, ensuring the room was done and ready. when we arrived the staff and people there were all just so lovely. Beautiful beach across the road. and amazing restaurant about a 2 min walk away :)

Comfortable beds. Lovely garden. Lovely beach across the road. Charlies Restaurant - good food and music nearby. Superette and church 10-15 minutes walk away. Maire Nui gardens and cafe nearby. Bus stop outside gate with buses going every 30 mins.
Could have been cleaner. Looking a bit sad - built in 80s and some repairs required. New crockery needed. Wifi details should be readily available. Units should have numbers as trying to find our room in the dark at 3am following our late flight was very difficult.
We enjoyed our stay. It works well if you want to bring your own food and big open plan rooms so good for families. All cooking facilities and microwave and fridge available. Not much space in freezer as being used for storage for owner or manager.

Had a lovely stay here! Beach across the road is absolutely stunning! Older sort of building but great value as it’s very spacious, safe and right across the road from the most beautiful beach! Staff have been super friendly & helpful. Lots of roosters around the island so prepare for an early wake up call! Lots of dogs around the island too & also a sweet old pup at Raina. It’s about a 30 minute walk to Muri beach, definitely a lot further out than a 8 minute walk. Charlie’s and Cafe Puretu close by for a feed Both with beautiful views & also a small convenience store.
The accommodation is dated and in need of maintenance. It is self catering, but not all the burners work on the stove and there was limited utensils to cook with. The room was large and the the location was great.

Will be definitely visiting again within next two years. Brilliant holiday.
Again as stated earlier an excellent and relaxing holiday. Plenty to do or if so required could just relax and enjoy the excellent surroundings. Actually went out on a fishing trip with others and caught some good fish also so a humpback
whale close to the shoreline.
Property was old and needed serious work, the outside needed to be absolutely disinfected, we didn't feel secure there as one of the doors didn't lock, the housekeeping was minimal with an old towel provided every 3 days, getting hold of the owner was a nightmare - the list goes on and I would not recommend

The last night we stayed here we were robbed, all our cash taken and there’s was no brake in and our doors were locked, someone with a key had come in while we were asleep and taken our money, we seen that this had happen to some others a few days after we had left so u don’t recommend people stay here,
The Raina is will pass a good paint and a make over, the room was very basic. shower leaked over the floor no indication of which taps where hot or cold, toilet run continuously, gas rings didn't work, only had a radio that didn't work, Very thin walls and dark rooms. On the plus side very good access to beach free use of kayaks and the staff were very friendly.

We stayed at the 3 bedroom beach house for 9 nights. It was set in front of the best snorkelling area and had a lovely little beach right at the bottom of the steps to the beach. There were 3 kayaks provided, 2 outdoor taps and showers and lots of outdoor seating. The view from the deck is amazing! Great parking and easy to find. The house is a typical beach bach, nothing flash but everything you need. All rooms have ceiling fans which are very welcomed, especially at night. One bedroom has ensuite while other 2 share a bathroom inbetween them. Showers were pretty low pressure but didn’t detract from our holiday. The curtains in all the rooms were very light so if you're after dark rooms in the morning, look elsewhere. Again, this didn’t bother us as we were there to enjoy the sunshine! Bedding was clean and pillows and matresses were ok. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Was great to have a full fridge/freezer and washing machine. There was a shop next door for emergency supplies, open until 10pm which was great. Charlies Bar a 5 minute stroll down the beach was great for cocktails and relaxed dinner. Quick drive to Muri for night markets and resorts so the house is in a great spot. Lots of friendly dogs come visiting and their are chickens with their chicks and roosters about too. Communication with Tanya the owner/manager) was quick and helpful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Beach House and would definately book again for a cost effective break.
Location is 9/10 , building needs renovation and repairs , doors dont open and close correctly. The main beedroom locks you in if you close the door. Bathroom doors dont close without spending a few minutes to make it slide. There is mold over all the walls and ceiling , bbq was left with old Moldy food all over it . 1of the bedrooms leak when it rains, they are aware of this as they mentioned it to us when we checked in ortho they didnt mention it was right about the bed. When we were arrived we were told to turn on the hot water cylinder a few hours befor use and to turn it off after each use to save power. Had some infestation with termites or some other bug that eats wood , there were 4 spots that keeped leaving a mess on the floor and would reappear after you clean them. The beedroom to the lounge area had a 20-30mm lip were the floors were not even so watch your step to prevent a stubed tow. Hole in Bathroom ceiling from water damage. 3 Kayaks were available but no paddles ortho there was 1/2 a paddle. We booked for 3 adults and children payment option pay on arrival. Payment was taken 2 months be for arrival and then the provider attempted to charge my car again 2 times befor we arrived. When we arrived we had 3 visits from hotel employee to pay more for having 3 adults ortho the booking wa for 3. We stayed for 8 days. For $2500 they should maintain and clean the property
NOT RECOMMENDED.dirty,old,worn.Our experience from beginning to end was unbearable. I booked for 6ppl for $1051.63. Our stay was from 2-7th Feb.When I got my itinerary, it said the booking was only for 2ppl. I called abt the error made,to which tanya insisted i pay $500 for my 4 chldrn.I hesitantly agreed to pay the extra, since they wouldn’t refund me back.baring in mind we were here to bury our mother/nana.so we needd somewhr to stay. I barely got of the plane, before the txts and messages started to spam my phone about paying money now..we just took our mum off the plane and driving to our home in Arorangi &they are spamming me. Im trying to organise my family our transport our luggage our extended family etc.And these ppl are worried about money.. when we finally got to check in,at the house. Staff asked us to pay now. I didn’t have cash at the time because we just got of the plane. I said to the staff pls come back when we are here again. We drove back to Arorangi and slept there with mum one last time. When we came back to the accomm, staff ask on boss behalf Tanya for money now. We still didn’t make it to the atm. On day 3.We got a very nasty phone call frm Tanya &anotherfrmJune. Who came to the property to kick us out! She racially profiled my kids calling them”you people”&accusing thm of breaking her old picture, that fell of th wall.Thtwas the last straw. Frm then on,I refuse to pay anymre.she calld her ppl & police to intimidate me.But the police sided with us.
Staff very friendly & would be most willing to help if they could understand. June was delightful to talk to. Building is old & it shows as not maintained. Rooms were shabby & dirty.
I stayed at the Beach House down the Road. It is a flat with kitchen for cooking, but the set up was less than ideal. The oven did not work, the dish brush was left with crusted food in it, and there was a truly bizarre odor from under the sink.
That said, the staff were friendly and responsive to my needs. The view and proximity to the beach were perfect. The plant growth could be trimmed as it inhibits the view to the beach a bit. The location is really great.

Budget accommodation very tired refurb would be good
Large, apartment, across from fabulous beach. Bus stop outside door & 25 min walk to Muri. Tanya was great to deal with & had arranged a driver to collect us from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Spacious but the room was not clean at all. There were marks all over the walls and sheets and bathroom was gross. Chewed geeing gum was sitting in the shower. We left a day early because of it.
