Kia Orana Michael,thank you for your 5/5 rating and constructive feedback regarding the beach. Following a serie of kind tides, we've lost sand (and quality access) in front of the resort. Awaiting approval from government agencies on national coastal protection plans to be allowed to rectify the landscape.Silver lining of the kind tides - we now have a magnificent sand bank right in front of MOTU!

In saying that, I believe our guests also love the peace and exclusivity of the property without having outside diners visit the resort at every meal. But as you said, they are options within walking distance, restaurants with complimentary pickup/dropoff service, and the villas being equipped with a full kitchenette allows guests to prepare light meals in their room.
