"We stay in Taupō a lot. This was definitely the best price for the best accommodation we could find. It had a kitchenette with serving utensils for 3 (apartment size room) and a pool outside that was open in August. We didn’t think it would be open so we didn’t have swim-wear. But there were lots of people enjoying it. We assume because we were right on hot water beach the water was warm. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had all the things you need and towels.
