"Lovely hotel but we were too busy touring to enjoy the hotel's amenities. Would like to have stayed longer. Close to downtown and easily walkable."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Quinta São José do Barrilário in the Douro Valley! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views of the valley. The peaceful atmosphere, lovely accommodations, and stunning scenery made our stay feel truly special. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s wine country. A memorable experience and a place we would love to return to!"

"Incredible hotel. Absolutely beautiful property. Rooms were beautiful. Staff friendly and professional. Convenient location."

"Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Ma compagne, mon fils de 15 mois et moi avons passé un excellent moment. Bon petit déjeuner. Zone pataugeoire dans la piscine excellente pour des parents avec enfants."

"We had a great stay with our 10 month old daughter. They were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The views from the property are incredibly beautiful"

"Breakfast was good. My only complaint is not with the hotel but with Expedia. I booked a room with breakfast but did not check the receipt, only to arrive and be told that breakfast was not included. A google check exposed that this is due to a glitch that expedia is aware of."

"Perfect place to stay overnight or few days to visit the vineyards along Douro river by train with morning breakfast."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Follow the directions provided by the property. Google will take you down a sketchy road. Staff was very responsive to all our questions. Views are 10/10"

"Super helpful staff. Great breakfast. Very quaint."
