Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. "The hosts could not have been more helpful. The copper room was better than I expected, with a very large comfortable bed, an area to eat, lots of tea & coffee and even fresh milk. The en suit was well designed with a large shower and good quality soft towels. I would not hesitate to return or recommend, this is one of the best rooms we have rented. "
