"We showed up for our reservation to find out there was an issue with our room and we are not staying at the oaks hotel anymore but at the Hilton down the street selling it as an upgrade to is at no extra cost. We picked the oaks specifically from its location to a restaurant we were meeting a large group at. While the Hilton wasn’t much further it was not what we wanted when booking. "Terrible room - small, no view at all, no closet or place to hang clothes, next to elevators which were too loud so we couldn’t sleep. "

"Quaint little spot. Nice and clean. Great staff. We had a bottle of wine and charcuterie in the little cafe upon arrival and it was excellent. Nothing fancy and a little out of the way but a quick drive or Uber to anywhere you need to go. Very reasonably priced. I’d go back for sure. "

"( my family had 2 rooms- 4 travellers ) The rooms were clean, there was no hot water for showers. One of the rooms had no heat for 2 days, on day 2 maintenance came to put in a new unit. ( Rooms have no microwave , but there is a fridge) depending when you go , parking can be tricky. Staff were friendly. The casino is a short walk. We only ate in the hotel once TGIF ( as prices are higher)"

"It doesn’t have an elevator and since we have mobility issues, had to take the only room left on the first floor that had a ripped curtain that made it impossible to make the room totally dark and someone could peep into the room if the curtain moved from how we set it up. The staff was very friendly and loved the lemon water available in the lobby."
