"We arrived early at the hotel and noticed the garbage outside was overflowing onto the sidewalk. Our room was not ready so we headed out and when we came back in the evening, the garbage had not been taken care of. Once in our room there were virtually bathroom ameneties. A small bottle of shampoo and a small bottle of conditioner. A half roll of toilet paper was in the bathroom. No cups. No tissues. There was a coffee maker in the cabinet and when I asked the front desk for K-cups for the coffee maker the person had no clue what I was talking about. When asked about tissues, we were told to use toilet paper. When we asked for more toilet paper and towels someone brought up a bag of toilet paper in one hand and 2 rolls in the other. He was a bit snarky and asked which we wanted. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast included. That was a joke. There was no juice. No water. The Mr. Coffee was leaking all over. The few pieces of bread available looked like they had been there for a few days. The cereal dispensers had nothing but crumbs in them. There was a waffle maker but that was it. We had to go out every morning and buy our breakfast. Housekeeping was non-existent. I would never go back to this hotel again."

"Highly recommend this place, especially after they just remodeled, which is absolutely beautiful ,, general manager Bijal Patel is absolutely helpful resourceful, and goes above and beyond to make sure that all guests have what they need at any time of the day or night this place definitely gets a five star from me."

"You could be so much better, but I don’t think you will spend the money with the effort to become that. It’s an old property and it’s very European and I travel all over the world dozens of times a year so I do appreciate some elements of this property, the facilities in my room, but it leaves a lot… A lot… A lot to be desired. You need more lighting in the room that is so simple and won’t cost you anything. You can’t have bunkbeds. I know that seems European, but somebody was complaining that was checking in the same time as me with her daughter how many people really want bunkbeds this is not summer camp. I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam that was very tight and small and they still managed to put a regular bed. I felt like the staff was more concerned with the martini bar downstairs than guests who are paying $600 a night as opposed to $15 for a cocktail. The var . The various people at the front desk almost felt like they were pulled off the street and didn’t know anything about the property. They couldn’t be more clueless and I don’t mean that personally. A high-end boutique hotel needs to protect itself and its guest. I was fine with the lift but its outdated . 2/5"
