"This is the 2nd time I've stayed here at The Raven and it certainly won't be the last. The staff are all fantastic, friendly, helpful, and even though they are all busy they are all really cheerful and take time to interact with you. Yes, admittedly the rooms look a little tired and dated, but they are clean, have everything you need and more importantly I sleep like a log here as the bedding is lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. "Our second visit and we would be happy to stay again. Set in a lovely olde worlde part of Shepperton it is a nice quiet location very close to the river. Lovely bar area and restaurant with an out door area to sit and watch the river life. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable, water pressure for the shower was a bit low but adequate. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay."

"Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were big and spacious. Feel the carpets, furniture and design are in need of a refresh. There was a musty smell throughout the corridors and the room smelled sweaty. Fortunately I arrived at 11pm so I opened the windows and aired it out which helped with some of the smell. The corridors were dingy and musty tho."

"One of the worst hotels and customer service. The family room we had pre paid was apparently not in service. The hotel manager took almost 2 hours to figure out alternate room situation. They kept changing their version from telling us that we will be given adjoining rooms to it being unavailable to finally giving us rooms that had non functioning AC and we needed to ask for fan at night. Although the location is convenient and very close to Heathrow the hotel rooms being non functional and poor...

"The hotel was very practical and clean. The breakfast was ok and food selection was limited but as you expect. The stand out point was the professionalism and courtesy of the staff who couldn’t do more for you."

"The location was really lovely and had beautiful views from the restaurant patio, but it seemed like it was understaffed. There weren’t many staff around and the ones that were there were running around very busy and were hard to catch when we needed something such as ordering food at the restaurant or getting some towels in our room. They were extremely pleasant but just not very available. Also, the place was not very clean. It was passable in the actual rooms, but the patio was full of dust...
