"Booked for a 1-night stay for work. Great welcome and shown to room (in room 3). Lovely room, good TV and wifi. Bed was very comfortable, ensuite was great and heated. Own thermostat in room. Small desk to work at (if required). Nice touch of being able to get fresh milk for tea and coffee in lobby just before going into room, as well as bottled water. "We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be."

"Everything was wonderful! The location is oerfect for a stroll down to Swanage and back, access to the beach is via some steep stairs but this means its nice and quiet. The room was very clean and bathroom was wonderful with more hot water than you could ever want. Food and breakfast were good with impecable speed and incredible views. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful, always happy to help and had a smile on their face."

"A lovely winter break in a perfect location. Staff went above and beyond to accomodate our requests during our stay, an extended family get together for a special birthday (8 people). We had four rooms for our family, good sized family room with double, single and sofa bed with nice sea peek; a twin with sea views; and two doubles, one sea view side. The hotel is a brick historic Victorian country house hotel set in a great elevated position in West Lulworth, a short stroll up from the cove....
