"On a scale of 1-10 I wish I could give the W a better than 10! This resort is top tier. The view is beautiful. The beach the property sits on has soft sand, the waves are huge and guest enjoy surfing. The grounds are well manicured and constantly attended to, to ensure optimal comfort for guests. Our room had an amazing layout, with a private plunge pool on the rooftop. The decor in the room was amazing, the detail made it feel like home. The bed was soft, almost making it hard to get out of daily - are the blankets weighted? Probably! The automatic shades make the view from room beautiful without having to get out of bed! The dual shower heads and the outdoor bath tub made relaxation a priority, almost a spa feel! The staff greet you every time you cross paths. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. I wished we could have checked in a little earlier but understand why we couldn’t - other than that, I have no complaints. The hotel did accommodate a late check out so that made up for it tremendously! The food was not bad, very much upscale dining except the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the French toast and the omelette station daily. We tried 2 dinner restaurants - Spice Market (Jose was great, attentive and a pleasure to see twice) ribeye was great - & Venazu - pizza was to die for, wood fired and fresh deliciousness. Overall we had a positive experience and wish we could have stayed longer! "

"Excellent property. Staff were all so accommodating and welcoming. There is an app to use to order room service, book dinner reservations etc. which makes things super convenient. The food was pretty good! The beach was quite nice. Not a swimming beach but you are at a surf resort. You can walk fairly far to the south and the beach is all sand. If you book a junior suite like I did, note it surrounds the courtyard and there are evenings where there will be very loud music until rather late. So if you are early to bed, early to rise, this won’t be your ideal location. If I knew about that, I would absolutely have requested to upgrade before we settled in. On our last night the courtyard music ended around 10, then the live music in the secrets bar above went until 1:00am. "

"My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Secrets Bahia Mita! Here is list of our favorites 1. SPAAAAAA, hydro therapy amenities were devine. We went back for seconds 2. Fine Dining! We loved all of the options! My favorite was Bordeaux 3. 6th Floor pool along with Olio restaurant were a dream. 4.COFFEE lovers, there are many options at the Cafe. There you can also pick up quick meal and ice cream anytime of the day 5. Hospitality, every single employee was pleasant and helpful "
