"Nice traditional Pub with rooms located in a nice green area with some good walking trails to the Trundle (definitely worth it)... the food was great, and the breakfast was filling - staff were friendly and helpful"

"The room was very clean Bed was good but could feel the springs a bit, although comfortable enough to sleep on The food was excellent especially the Sausage and Mash and the Steak and Ale Pie, good portion sizes, very friendly staff."

"Very clean, service was fantastic, food was delicious, will be returning"

"The location was excellent; however, the discerning differential was the outstanding staff. Damien, Reuben and Andrew manned the restaurant extremely well and attended to my every need. The housekeeping staff were also polite and extremely attentive, Lastly, the breakfast chef was excellent."

However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...

"Nice enough - the room was ok but quite dated, no tv and could do with a redecorate. But nice location and limited choice in Godalming"
