The hotel overlooks the Lagune snd there were always birds to watch there, including flamingos. Staff was fantastic. Rooms were quite, big and very clean. Loved this place.

Friendly Service and Beautiful Views

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff close to everything you need. Definitely get one of the lake view rooms to enjoy sunsets with the flamingos

Great stay

Location is right by the flamingo lagoon where you will see lots of flamingos but not super close to the ferry and main area. The hotel was great for booking activities during our stay.

Hotel and staff were great. Was right across from flamingo lagoon which was really neat. Very clean and beautiful room. Very short walk to beach, restaurants and stores. Helped with doing laundry and gave boxes breakfast for early checkout.

I would definately recommend this hotel

We had a lovely 2 nights at the hotel. We are sailing the world arc so it was a treat to have a large shower and a bed that didnt rock. The staff were so kind and allowed us extra time to check out. I would definately recommend this hotel in Isabela, Galapagos

The staff at Hotel LaLaguna is absolutely wonderful! The rooms are very comfortable (air conditioned, too) & they offer a hot breakfast each morning. Everyone was friendly / welcoming- they also helped me book some tours! I definitely recommend this hotel!!

Great place to stay

Hotel La Laguna on Isabela Island was a fantastic choice for our stay! The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to all the island's highlights. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always eager to assist with recommendations and ensuring our stay was memorable. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it feel like a true paradise. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Isabela Island!

Amazing Hotel

This hotel was perfect for our time spent in Isabela. The flamingos came out to greet us when we got there (there’s a lagoon across the street), the staff was so helpful and friendly, and the bed was super comfortable, our balcony had an ocean view and a view of the lagoon. The location is perfect. The showers actually got hot and had pressure.

Lovely town

This hotel is in a great location. The town is very small so you can get anywhere quickly by walking or cheap taxi (truck). The flamingos are wonderful to see anytime if the day or evening. There are around ten in the lagoon. The staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. Isabela was a favourite part of our trip. The sunset is stunning and wildlife is everywhere.

Well worth the stay

I was really impressed with the service provided and the friendliness of the staff, they really helped to make my trip to Isla Isabela as memorable as could be. The staff were simply terrific and made sure I understood how tours and ferry/taxi services worked, and when there was a small mix up with a tour the desk clerk was able to have it corrected and send me on my way so the little delay. The hotel is very clean and extremely accommodating and is a great option for what I was looking for, they had 110 volt electricity and great air conditioning in the rooms. The morning breakfast overlooking the lagoon is a great way to start the day and meet other travelers, and when I left for a morning ferry before the kitchen opened the thoughtful staff left a care package of drinks and snacks for me at the desk which was very unexpected and really made me smile when I saw that. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone, I was only sorry that I didn’t extend my stay here as they were fantastic to me.

The apartment is very clean and nice. However, we were promised to get a pick up at the boat dock which never happened and the code did not work for the door, so it was very frustrating with lack of communication. Once and, the place looks very nice. We just got here.

Great stay!

First I was very surprised to be greeted at the dock by staff members to take me to the hotel. The place was very comfortable very clean and everyone at the front desk was simply amazing. They organized all our activities, they helped store our luggage a couple of hours before our ferry left after check out. Free water was always available with great wifi considering the island. The location was great only a km walk from the docs and two blocks away from the main plaza. Waking up to flamingos every morning was great. The bath to the wall of tears is also right next to the hotel and the breakfast was standard but good. Overall great stay

This hotel was situated in the perfect area where you could walk to either the beach or the local side of town. It's also directly across from a lagoon that hosts a family of pink flamingos! The rooms were very spacious, and housekeeping kept the place spotless, even with everyone traipsing back and forth to the beach. We were also impressed with the service here, from breakfast to taxi booking. At one point, we wanted to make drinks in our room. The receptionist ran all the way upstairs to the kitchen to cut our limes and even washed fresh glasses. Talk about above and beyond!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in the lagoon view king room. From the moment we arrived at the airport the staff were all amazing and helpful. The hotel breakfast is really nice and the chef was very good and attentive. The breakfast is similar everyday, but there was always a little something different like pancakes etc. there is a nice pool area which has shade in the afternoon which was nice. The beach is a minute away with kms of white sand and nobody around! We swam with baby sharks and rays. There are restaurants on the beach as well as on the walk to the beach. The rooms do not have fridges, but there is a communal one upstairs where we kept our things and it seemed totally fine. The room had beautiful windows to see the amazing views, however that meant it was a bit loud in the evening and mornings with dogs and some cars, but we had earplugs and it was totally fine.
