The staff was so helpful and polite. They knew us by name and were always ready to help with transportation baggage or anything we needed. The property was very clean and in great shape plus a beautiful location. We recommend this place to everyone!!!

This is a fantastic hotel. Everyone’s customer service, friendliness and attentiveness is amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. The food and drinks were also very good.

This hotel was great, staff was friendly the hotel have many amenities. Their breakfast options were great. They have two restaurants in the hotel where you can have you dinner so there is no need to go outside.

Lots of extras on arrival including a welcome drink, complimentary juices, apple tea and fruit, Funny Lion bandanas and a tote bag. Very helpful and friendly staff. Packed a breakfast for us due to an early flight. Arranged a taxi to the airport. Could not have done more for us.

Exceptional stay!

I think is the best accommodation in Puerto Princesa! They treated us like royals! The resort and the room is very modern and with beautiful design. The location as beachfront is very nice too. The very friendly and polite staff provided everything we asked for. Beautiful bar- restaurant and nice pool too. Definetily recommended!

We had a wonderful time at The Funny Lion in Puerto Princessa , the staffs are very nice and friendly. The manager at the Hunt Restaurant “ Junel “ is exceptional , He cater our needs . It’s above and beyond and all the staff at the restaurant are super nice , our room is always clean and smells good . Thank you so much .

In the hotels I've stayed, this is definitely one of my favorites. The Funny Lion is a beautiful hotel with good amenities and a lot of complimentary items that make you feel appreciated as a customer. The staff was outstanding, especially Sir June who took excellent care of my party and me and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a nice place with friendly staff and peaceful surroundings, book now!

But it is the incredibly warm, smiling, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff that especially makes Funny Lion Puerto Princesa stand out. Every single member of their seemingly small army of staff who I interactacted with was kind, genuine and professional. The service and attention to detail at this hotell is unparalleled! Everything, no matter how big or small, from drinks to food is presented in beautiful and perfect fashion. We definitely did not want to leave and will be back again. Such an amazing surprise! The whole place has this incredibly restful feel, that quiet luxury you secretly desire, where everything feels effortless yet so thoughtful. The staff are the true STARS here. Their warmth and attentiveness blew us away… they even remembered how we take our coffee and had it waiting at breakfast, and one afternoon by the pool someone came round offering watermelon ice cream! The food was omg amazing! creative local dishes with a fusion twist, beautifully done and the drinks just as good. Free activities like kayaking and archery were such a fun bonus. Overall, we were blown away. A rare place that combines rest, fun, and impeccable service so perfectly. And to top it off, we left with the sweetest surprise… friendship bracelets on our departure! 💖

Newly opened property, still not at full operation, but I can only imagine how fine a hotel this will be after the grand opening. Little touches of service make this place special. Complimentary airport transfer, welcome drink and towelette, turn down service with local sweets, no charge for late check out. The staff know your name and always greet you with a smile. The food and drinks were excellent quality. They even packed me a to-go breakfast for an early morning tour, and had a beach towel in a branded tote ready to go for me. Wonderful experience in Puerto Princesa!

Staff here went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Could not walk past the staff without a friendly greeting, and a few words food options were good. Pool was clean. Private beach was an easy walk. You can also catch the sunrise in the morning, which was beautiful Room, good size clean and had everything I could want only downside they do not have an ATM on site and it is a little away from town to get to one lots of options to book to do different things. Unfortunately it was raining while I was there so I didn’t get to do much activities , overall five stars I would stay there again hands-down
