Very friendly team. Comfy bed. Great views. Dinner 60 dollars which some reviews have complained about but the food was good and the price reflects the overheads and fixed costs of running a small enterprise in such a remote location. We were very satisfied with our stay

Excellent stay, can’t wait to return.

Had an excellent stay. It was too short. Next time will stay for 3 nights. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Belén and Jessi provided lots of advice and were just great! Located in a beautiful region of southern Chile.

Perfect Stay

Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights at Mallin. Belén and Roxana could not have been more helpful during our stay, booking in and organising for us our bucket list tours of Kayaking the Marble Caves and the Explorades Glacier Ice Walk. The companies that they used were first class. Belén is extremely knowledgeable and was such a gracious host. The walk at the back of the property has some of the best views around. The rooms are lovely and thoughtfully decorated and the property is about 50mins from Rio Tranquilico by car and is a lovely drive. Can’t fault our stay, thank you to the team at Mallin!

This place is as close to a heavenly haven as you can come! When we first arrived I laughed out loud to myself because I didn't think somewhere could be that beautiful. The accommodation is beautifully decorated in both the rooms and communal areas. The main part of the lodge where breakfast and dinner take place is stunning inside and out and has a really cosy homey feeling, as well as feeling grand. The wooden interior and exterior of the property are just stunning. We came in December and the bright purple and pink lupins surrounding the property made it feel like you're walking through a fairytale. All this, and then you look at the view. The views over the crystal blue Lago are just amazing. The staff were super friendly, and multi-lingual, which was very useful for us as we don't speak Spanish. The food was all prepared from scratch on site and tasted super fresh and amazing! I can't wait to visit here again in the future.
