This is a true gem of a place, beautifully decorated, clean, very friendly and obliging team We loved it so much we are trying to fit another trip back here into our itinerary Right on the beach with incredible views

The place is situated right on promenade and easy to navigate in the neighborhood and the staff was helpful- had difficulty at my 630 am checkout as there was no one to do it - had to do all kinds of gyrations to checkout so I could leave and catch my bus - food is average but there are some decent restaurants in the hood.

The location on the promenade was great. No proper lobby or reception. A cafe at the entrance which serves as lobby. Not all rooms have view and most have partial sea view. Lovely room, very comfortable beds, very clean and fantastic staff. Breakfast was very basic and not great. Better to eat elsewhere.

La Plege is a lovely place with a great location, perfect for enjoying Pondicherry’s beaches and nearby attractions. The staff is very friendly, and the overall hospitality made our visit comfortable. A special mention to the Manager, who was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. One small concern was about the sandwiches at the counter, which could be improved in terms of freshness and presentation. Apart from that, it was a pleasant experience and a nice place to relax.

Very disappointing experience. The staff was kind but the hotel misrepresents itself. There is zero parking and I had to walk one block with suitcases to get to hotel. All blocks blocked off. Nothing in the area and while the beach was nice to see ocean, the sand was not nice at all. It looked like mud. Very old facility and bathroom very small. I would not stay again.
