The Dean Cork
The location was great. Hotel was well appointed. Staff was very friendly (especially Maeve). Standard rooms are a tight fit but cute. Sadly, construction blocked the views of the water. Pool was tepid and steam room didn't work. All in all, would stay here again.

Imperial Hotel
I’ve been staying at The Imperial for years and it only gets better. The new (it was new to me at least) Fitzgerald’s Bar is a thing of beauty AND with excellent craic. The staff is lovely, Lafayette’s is a cafe you never want to leave, and the hotel overall continues to age in the very best way. ...
