"The staff was super pleasant and kind - especially the front desk staff. I guess my biggest gripe is that the pool area isn't very inviting. It's not well lit at night and just generally felt like it needed tlc. The restaurant doesn't have much of a vibe and the food is bland but fine. The coffee sucks but it is what you expect at a hotel. "I had a great overall stay at Villas of the Galleon. The room was clean, fresh, and very comfortable—housekeeping exceeded my expectations in a really positive way. The location is amazing. Being right on Seven Mile Beach is unbeatable, and all of the nearby restaurants were top-notch. It really made the trip feel special. "Perfect place for families with kids. The rooms were great (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen). The pool was great for kids with both a deeper section (3-5 ft) and I nice shallow section (2 feet) with waterfalls. In addition to the facility the staff was great with activities for kids (coral painting, make magnets, etc) and it’s located well to walk to a ton of restaurants, the beach, and easy pickup to attractions. Would go back! "

"We very munch enjoyed our stay at Vida! It’s great to be away from the hustle of 7 Mile Beach. The restaurant on site was wonderful and the service was great. Vida offers complimentary workout classes during your stay so I enjoyed yoga on the roof. We biked to Cracked Conch with the bikes they offered as well. While the cabs add up going into 7 mile beach area I wouldn’t trade staying here for that. We hope to come back!"
