The lobby was beautiful with it's gardens, fountains, waterfalls and streams. Has a restaurant on site, much facilities (gym etc) but the sauna, hot top, and kids water funspot was inop, but it was off season too... The room was nice, quiet, comfortable and adequate.

Was very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not functional due to inspection. Totally understandable, but would have liked to know when I called prior to booking. Even a small discount for the inconvenience would have been nice. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice.

front desk was extremely helpful. the room was clean and .we've never had a problem with noise as its a little off the main highway . we always stay here when we are in Prince George . its nice and not too expensive.

The Continental breakfast was lacking in protein of any sort. Hard to start your day on just cereal and toast. No eggs, meat of any sort or peanut butter!! Def could be improved on. Otherwise decent rooms, clean and friendly staff.

I will not be staying at the super 8 ever again. The only thing we liked was the pool. Our room was disgusting. If i could upload pictures i would . Saving them for future reference. The person or persons above us im pretty sure never slept so no sleep for us. Breakfast ???? Ya no. We checked out at 8 am. We payed 132 dollarsxto stay in someone elses filth. Not a way to clean or run a business at all.

After I had called in advance (the day before check in) to let them know I have a cat with me, they confirmed it would be fine and there would be a fee. When I came to check in they told me that I can't check in with the cat. Tried charging me "around $100" to prep a room for a pet. The staff is rude and lies (told me I had gotten a different part of the company when I called. So I called the number again and got the front desk.) they're incompetent, and from what other reviews have been, dirty and infested with bedbugs. I never got to my room. They charged me for the night because I cancelled after check in. They will not give you their name when you call, will answer the call like a personal phone call "Hi" no company name, no introduction, and will hang up on you without asking if you need help with anything else, or saying goodbye.

The property could use some updating. Some areas are wonderful- lounge space around the pool, bathrooms. The beds need replacing, windows need cleaning and updating, noise barriers. Pool hours are very limited. Doors do not have dead bolts.

My review might be biased as I grew up in Prince George and remember this property as Esther's Inn. It's changed significantly since then, but some appealing aspects, such as indoor greenery, remain the same. The property is old but that's part of the charm. The tropical atmosphere more than makes up for this. The room was clean and large enough for my two children and me, and our room was equipped with a really convenient microwave. Seeing the hot tubs closed was disappointing. Of the four water areas, only one pool and a steam room were available. All the others had wooden covers on them. I was also sad to see the fountain had been shut down. The staff was friendly, and the hotel had nice sitting areas. While I'm sure it is excellent, the restaurant wasn't ideal for the kids as it is traditional Indian cuisine. Overall, the price was great and we had a good experience. I would absolutely return to this property if we ever find ourselves back in Prince George.

The hottubs have been out of order for a long time now, no intention to getting them fixed. No room cleaning or refill your soaps, shampoos, coffee stuff, unless you request the night before? Odd to me. I asked for a closer room on the main floor after the front desk said they were dead and had tons of rooms... breakfast included pretty bad... toast, two kinds of cereal, fruit cup and yogurt cup..

We love the courtyard, the plants and water features, our kids love it, our dog loves it. I miss the vouchers for a full breakfast. But the continental breakfast is still very nice.

Terrible experiance. I called Super 8 motel switchboard and spoke to someone. I was told all rooms are pet friendly. I booked a suite for 1 night. At check in, i was told the switchboard operator is wrong. The room is not pet friendly. This has happened many times before and they keep telling customers the entire hotel is pet friendly when they only haven10 rooms pet friendly. There is no other pet friendly rooms available. The employee called his manager and said they would let us stay in the room with the animals except it would cost an extra 50.00 per dog. We had two. I was so angry. To hear this happens all the time and yet nothing is done. I had a very long day and was travelling with 4 children. One of which was an infant. We decided not to stay there, we were so frustrated at the horrible customer service and unwillingness to make it right as it was there error.

For the price we had a decent stay. It is kid friendly which was nice. Our kids really enjoyed their stay. Front desk staff weren’t very friendly or helpful (during breakfast they refused to get a high chair for my one year old to eat, even though I could see them in the restaurant from where breakfast was set up). Rooms were in somewhat disrepair, but it was clean. Don’t expect more than what you are paying for! Would stay again simply because my kids really enjoyed themselves. Also a plus, if you have an electric vehicle, PG ford has an excellent charging set up and it’s right across the street.

Absolutely no direction or consideration by front desk employees. They are holding my $200 deposit for up to 10 days saying it’s due to technical difficulties. Layout of motel is confusing easy to get lost with no direction looking for room. Calling back about the deposit the clerk was rude and very unhelpful.

This hotel is Prince George’s hidden gem ! The courtyard is so beautiful with a lush jungle and a pool in amongst the landscape! I had al offer in a gorgeous gazebo, kids loved the simple pool and rooms are basic but clean and cozy . I adore the natural light and green space it’s so calming and tranquil. Don’t miss this hotel

The hotel room is comfy and tidy. Location is great with lot of restaurants nearby. Definitely will stay here again.

My room was changed from rm#121 to #161. I wanted three beds and they did not know we have 2 dogs as a result they changed us to a pet friendly room with two queen beds. I was charged $108.58 $40 pet fee. I asked how do I let them know we have pets and they said the room selection has to say ‘pet friendly room’ I don’t recall seeing anything about that selection in the Expedia app. I have reserved a room before and they saw me with our dogs at check in. It panned out fine.
