"Staff here was super friendly. Breakfast and coffee bar were also very nice. The location, for our need, was fantastic. We brought out two small dogs to hike some trails and be outside, waterfront park across the street was ideal, and super short drive to Presque Isle Park. Our only suggestion, is the carpets were visibly dirty, more common in pet friendly hotels we know, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall a very nice place to stay."

"Great experience at Red Roof in downtown Erie. Was traveling solo for a combination of work and fun. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and met my needs. Convenient location downtown with lots of restaurants/bars/ballpark/etc. within a short walking distance, including bayfront places just about a short 30 minute walk. Presque Isle beaches only about a 10-15 minute drive. Will definitely stay there again if work brings me back to Erie!"

"The beds were so comfortable that we overslept and missed breakfast. We stayed here before and will stay here again as the price is right and it’s easy to get to. The hotel is pretty much at the Millcreek Mall and there’s shopping and places to eat within walking distance. "

"Front staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Suite was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 separate bedrooms and a pull-out couch. Walking distance to mall and lots of shopping. Breakfast was decent (typical free hotel breakfast) and well-stocked. Pool area was nice and clean as well. "

It was a huge plus having free breakfast each morning, and there were tons of offerings including eggs, bacon, bagels, sausage, and freshly made waffles. The staff was friendly, the pool was great and felt amazing after a day at the beaches. Excellent location-we were able to walk to subway and IHOP. About 20 minutes to the beaches at Presque Isle. "The hotel was on an absolutely beautiful lake. The back patio was not quite ready for spring but it was very nice. Pool was clean and hottub was great. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Right next to a restaurant but we opted for ice cream in town that was delicious."
