Im sorry to hear about your stay. We are not a smoke free property, but our rooms ARE smoke free. No I was not at desk because I live here and am only on staff after 3 but I did arrive only a minute or two after you rang bell. You arrived at 3:01 and I said I needed to check if I had a room available as most had been cleaned that day. I did and you received a room within 10 minutes of arriving on property. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. You may need a more expensive property with more accommodations on your next visit.

I'm confused as to why you left a review and didn't even stay here or come in the building. We have a large property and spanish style hotel that is a very large building. Im not exactly sure what invoked "funeral parlour" as I know I have not seen one that looks like this building or even anywhere near this large. Regardless, it would've been nice for you to have actually come further than the street outside before you left a review. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Pratt though.

Your toilet clogged due to something being put in your toilet. You decided to allow it to continue flooding while coming to get me instead of calling or turning off the water then coming to get me. I spent 4 hours cleaning up the water and cleaning your bathroom personally. It was literally your last night here during Christmas. There was nothing else to give you.

I'm sorry to hear of your poor stay. Unfortunately, I did not hear any of this during your stay so I am unable to comment fully. I do see that you did pay an extremely discounted rate and as such may not have gotten one of the refurbished rooms that are generally assigned to people who pay a higher rate. I do suggest at any of your future hotel stays that you mention issues before the review so people can fix any issues without being blindsided by them.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, Miss Sandy. You had not requested a first floor room when you booked your stay or I would've saved you a first floor room at the beginning of the weekend. We were fully booked for most of the week. If I could've given you or known to give you a first floor room, I would've.

To the contrary your story changed. You stated you saw 2 fleas in the bathroom on a side that does not have pets. Then you stated you saw some spots on the toilet paper and googled it and took this for there were fleas. Then said you saw fleas after you had googled it. There was no mention of the room being so dirty until you left an in house feedback with us, and at that point, it was only the bathroom was dirty. Now in this review you are stating the whole room was dirty. We had shut down that room for 2 weeks. Wall paper was removed, walls were painted, everything in the room was steam cleaned, and the carpet was shampooed. The hallway carpet had also been shampooed the day of your arrival. I did offer to move you . You decided to leave. I did call and message my owner in front of you. There are signs stating no refunds. I went above and beyond. No matter what our policies are or how much I tried to do for you, you paid through expedia. It is ultimately out of our hands when it comes to that, and I assume since this review is here that they ultimately decided to not issue you a refund. I apologize that everything did not go the way you thought it was supposed to. I have spent countless hours in that room personally doing most of the refurbish. If there had been anything not supposed to be in there I would have found it. In fact, most of the downstairs on that side has been refurbished now. On a side note, flea stains are a lot like fly stains. The spots on the toilet paper were not that and most likely from the process of constructing it.

I'm sorry you thought I was rude, Mrs. Heim. I accommodated your request for a 1st floor room that you did not make until you got here even though we were completely full. I canceled your 2nd reservation that you had mistakenly made. And during all of this you never wanted to let me speak. You kept speaking over me and not listening even though I answered all of your questions and fixed all of your issues. Your service anywhere would be better if you treat people with respect and let them speak especially if they are trying to help you.
