Hotel VIP Praia is great location on the ocean with a beautiful rooftop pool & relaxing area! The buffet breakfast was good. We only had dinner in the restaurant once and it was not very good, was supposed to be pork tenderloin, was dried out bone in pork chops. There were some good restaurants in the are & shopping right door! The staff was helpful in most areas. Except downstairs bar/restaurant seemed understaffed. Overall great stay!!

Beautiful clean modern rooms - hot water didn’t work and was quite difficult to find outlet to charge my phone … Young man that checked me in was nice and pleasant - I forgot my passport and he saved it for me

We were treated as well as one should. The staff were friendly, professional and so accommodating. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Do not waste your money here. This is no longer a 4 star hotel. Not even 2. Employees are nice and helpful, but the rest….. Hotel not well maintained: window in bedroom did not close, lacked one lock and the other was loose. Bed was extremely noisy and mattress was lumpy. Parts of the shower head popped out as soon as I turned on the water. Very low pressure. And drainage almost non existent. Still bathroom floor was flooded in no time. Corridors and elevators have a rancid smell. Water on Rooftop pool and hot tub was cloudy.

I didnt like the room and bathroom because they were smaller than expected, and the bathroom didnt have any type of door to enter nor a door/curtain in the shower.

Come Stay A While
Will definitely stay here again. The front desk staff was great and the views from the rooftop are amazing. My only call out is if you order anything from the bar, just know it's going to take a while for your drinks to be made.

Super séjour !
Bon séjour dans cet hôtel. J'y ai passé 4 nuits au total mais en 2 fois. La première chambre était bien dans l'ensemble mais la pression de l'eau pas terrible. Le support du pommeau de douche était abîmée. La Devi d chambre que j'ai eu avais une salle de bain au design un peu différent et plus joli. La pression de l'eau était parfaite par contre la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas donc il faisait très chaud et impossible de changer de chambre car l'hôtel était plein. Mais sans l'ensemble tout s'est extrêmement bien passé. Le personnel de la réception et le manager était particulièrement gentil et prêt aider ou donner des conseils pour le séjour. Un merci spécial à Keller de la réception qui a toujours su gérer le moindre problème avec sourire et bienveillance. La terrasse avec la piscine est agréable. Enfin, la localisation d l'hôtel est top: proche de plein de restaurants et Bars ainsi que de la plage de Quebra Canela et le trajet jusqu'à l'aéroport n'est que de 15min. En gros, je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation.

Friendly, attractive, generally fine hotel
The hotel has a very friendly staff, and the rooms have great views. Checking in was quite easy and efficient. Controlling the room lights is a bit confusing, as some have switches and others don't. There was only one person working the breakfast room, doing every job, so about half the items of hot food that were already empty when I got there at 8:00 were not replaced by 9:15 despite a few polite reminders.

Very pleasant stay
VipPraia was our base for our second stay in Praia and it was a very pleasant experience. From the location, amenities, breakfast and lunch, swimming pool and the very kind staff. Special word to Ja who served us most of the times and was always available to listen our needs. We highly recommend it

The staff at the hotel are very kind. They helped us with check-in and also finding a taxi that will take us to the airport at a reasonable price. The rooms are very clean. I wish the beds are a bit more comfortable, and the breakfast could be nicer.

Un hôtel bien placé mais qui demanderait un bon rafraîchissement… C’est dommage car les chambres sont spacieuses et atypique car moderne avec leur style laquée.

The location is easy to find and close to great dining options, but the music outside is quite loud until after 11pm. Clean and comfortable, but dated, and the door deadbolt did not work. Breakfast was nice and staff were helpful.
