But for us just for a day it made no sense, I thought I was getting a hotel at the beachfront close to Obidos, it’s more of a vacation village 25 min drive from Obidos. There’s a hotel but we were in a townhomes - took a while to find it and figure it out, there’s a separate reception (not easy to find for someone who’s never been there). "Cute spot with friendly staff. Rooms are small yet well designed. Like that there’s a restaurant on property and easy parking on the street. One thing that was challenging is that there seems to not be any noise insulation, you can hear noise in the hallway and there was a door that sounded like it was being slammed in the afternoon and morning. Thankfully things quieted down at night, so it didn’t affect our sleep, but something to note if you are sensitive to this."

"Room was clean, basic but comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were ok but shower stank really bad. There is no oven, but there is a microwave and small air fryer. One of the hallways smelled like cigarettes a lot. There is a cafe directly beside/attached to the hostel that is super cute and had the best croissant ever."

"Hotel perfecto para una estancia e Peniche, habitaciones amplias y limpias con balcón. Acceptan perros y eso es un plus. Tienen piscina exterior e interior, gimnasio, restaurante, bar. Personal bastante amable y profesional. Desayuno bueno y variado. Justo frente a la playa. Si queréis hacer surf, tienen en el mismo hotel una escuela. Es muy práctico ya que se a desde el hotel directo en la playa para practicar. Muy recomendable."

"This was a beautiful place that combined the new and old. Loved the mirror in the bathroom in our room which was an old window with the glass replaced by a mirror. The headboard of the bed was a door that had lights attached to it. Don't get me started about the breakfast, it was fantastic. Wonderful staff that was so friendly."
