"This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. Breakfast was very good, too. Our hosts also offered very helpful tips on where to go for dinner or...

"Great size room, cot provided. We were pre-warned of Christmas parties being on over the weekend and had been put further away from an potential noise, we didn't hear a thing and weren't disturbed at all."

There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. Easy walk into Weymouth town and fantastic place as a base for exploring the rest of the Dorset. I would recommend this place to my family and friends and would definitely visit again!"

My room was external to the pub but it was lovely and warm (despite freezing temperatures outside) it was nice and spacious and had lovely facilities, nice bathroom and very clean. The walk from village to beach and the surrounding little narrow lanes are great if a tad challenging and I would recomend a stay here. "
