"Nice location, quiet."

"Fantastic location and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful. The location is brilliant. Very easy to explore the whole of Dorset and opposite a train station, (Moreton) if you want to use the train. There’s also a bus stop opposite. We were close to the Tank Museum, Clouds Hill and the village of Moreton has a beautiful church with stunning windows, and it’s where TE Lawrence had his funeral and he is buried close by- you can visit his grave. "Pleasant stay. Rooms look a bit dated, no plug sockets next to bed. Room wasn't hoovered before arrival. Plumbing need looking into (slow drainage and toilet flush not great) Staff were helpful. Breakfast was buffet, so unable to choose from normal breakfast menu."

"Great spot to stay in, convenient for the city. We loved the breakfast, a true highlight. My kids were very comfortable in the second bed and the shower was a great size. Unfortunately it was during a heatwave and with south facing windows I don’t think the temperature in the room dropped below 30c! The chap at breakfast said there is a plan to put in AC. The huge fan provided took the edge off."

"A fabulous pub / hotel! The staff were super friendly but very professional. The room we had was exceptional - a family room with double bed and 2 bunk beds (one of which housed our adult daughter without any problem). The new interior decorations were gorgeous - Pooky lights, artwork on the walls and corridors etc. Breakfast was magnificent (full vegetarian) and the bar in the evening was great with good choice of drinks and background music at the right level. "The Superior Double room was very comfortable, fresh and clean. The vanity area outside the bathroom was super convenient as was the number of outlets for charging tech. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was a short walk away but there was a drop-off zone next to the entrance. Great for our one-night stopover."

"Check in was simple and easy thanks to the WhatsApp photos/instructions sent through. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was also very warm which was a nice luxury, I had to turn the radiator down (but I'm used to living in a house without heating). The shower was hot and had good water pressure. Tea kettle station was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of parking behind the hotel. Overall a very comfortable stay while I visited family over the weekend leading up to Christmas."
