This hotel blocked the content I was watching on my iPhone/ iPad/wifi half way through the night I got a message on my phone you cannot change your safe search settings because they are being controlled by the WiFi administrator I am furious 😡

The accommodation was clean and practical. The main disappointment was the bathroom which had cracked and wobbly tiles to walk on and neither the bath or sink had plugs that fitted properly so it was difficult to have either a bath or wash in the sink without the water draining away. The rest of the room was clean and functional.

We have stayed here a few times and found the bed and room to be comfy and although at motorway service have had a good night sleep free parking is included

Bathroom wasn’t clean!!!! Dirty toilet it wasn’t flashed probably by the previous occupier! Housekeepers should be more attentive to this stuff.

It was a really comfortable bed. Thankfully as my visit was the end of February there was a heater in the room (there was also a fan). The room was quiet, which was surprising as it's at a Services. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When my hairdryer didn't work they quickly replaced it. The building is somewhat dated. As it's at the Services there were plenty of places to get food. I'd definitely stay there again.

Good for a ond night stay.
A one night stay and the room had everything I needed. Towels and bedding were clean and bed comfortable. Asked and got a lovely quiet room at the back overlooking nature reserve. Mice for a walk in the morning and great uf you have dogs. Quick and efficient check in and check out. Paid for a breakfast voucher for the service station which was delicious and good value. Room needed updating and some tlc, but still good for the price and OK for a one night stay shilst travelling. Parking included in the price.

Really bad!
This hotel continues to get worse. Corridor’s smell of weed from guests smoking in their rooms. Police were called to arrest someone. The rooms are damp, cold, stains everywhere. Black mould was growing around windows and in the bathrooms. The room doors don’t close properly. Rooms are very dated. Loads of noise from other guests, drunk people and road noise from M25 and A1. The staff are very strange and defend the place at all costs. They seem to think it’s all ok and keep saying it’s being renovated - completely untrue. Customer service don’t want to know. Loads of other hotels in the area so I’d suggest avoid this place at all costs.

When we got to our room there was a terrible smell. I reported it to reception and the guy there was very helpful and apologetic, moved us to another room very quickly. It ended up being a really nice stay at the hotel.

Efficient service with a smile
Service was amazing. Because our son was going to play in a concert, we requested an iron and board. They brought it to our room first thing in the morning. And the guy who made a note of the request the night before could not have been friendlier.

The staff were wonderful and very kind. But the rooms were dirty and the bathroom smelled horrendous - like wet towels and mold that had festered for ages. The beds were at least clean but not the most comfy. Good for the price but only if you won’t be in the room for much of your stay.

Don't do it... pay extra & go somewhere else!
Absolutely filthy and run down, window sill covered in mildew, bathroom fan so clogged with dirt it didn't work and the Electric fire started smoking when we switched it on, reported it to woman on reception who moved us.... but then still charged us £10 for an hour later checkout... would most definitely NOT recommend!

Room in need of a bit of a work (windows don’t close properly, chips out of bath) but clean and tidy. Bed lovely and soft and had a great sleep.
