"We had a great time here. The breakfast was good and the evening wine was an added treat. Watching the sunset over the lake on their beach or playing cards in their screen porch was a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there were no screens on the window in our room. It would have been nice to have an evening breeze rather than using the air conditioner."
"Very friendly staff
I like that it’s a family owned property and run with that sort of hometown vibe
The staff were all great
The attached restaurant was good and serves a fantastic breakfast
It’s also a very convenient location"
"My wife and I spent a wonderful long weekend here. Walked to Sister's Bay Village and back several times, enjoying the sights, sounds and eateries. The sunrise is breathtaking!
Breakfast was excellent! Enjoyed both the hot tub and swimming pool!
Highly recommend this place!!"
"We stayed a few day in early June and really enjoyed this hotel. Great location in Sister Bay, clean room, kitchenette and chairs outside to enjoy our morning coffee. Thank you for making our stay stress free."
"The staff was very helpful and
personable.
The "continental" breakfast was okay and what i would expect. It would have been better with some hard boiled eggs to go with the bagels and breads. Some gluten-free bread would be good considering how many people are gluten-free these days. The breakfast should be available earlier than 8:00."
"Very nice place to stay in the heart of Door County. Beautiful grounds with gardens and plants. Rooms had nice decor and were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend."
"The Harbor Light Inn is situated directly across the street from the water. If you're looking for a beach, you can walk about 50 feet down from the Inn to a little park, and if you want to put in a boat, the marina is right there.
The Commodore was our room, and we had a great little place to journal or watch the sun set from our bay window. Our innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you give your cell phone, not a home phone land line (if you have one) since that will be the way that you open your room door when you arrive. (Minor oops on our part!)
This place is perfectly located to get to the ferry on the "curvy road"/Hwy 42, and located just far enough away from the madness of the other towns (think Sister Bay) to be able to visit Al Johnson's for breakfast if you want, but not to have to hear cars and motorboats early or late. Plenty of parks, both state and county are around, and the inn also has a complete kitchen, dining area and great room to sit and read, play games or snuggle in if the weather turns."
