"I didn't explore the area much. But the location is near the train station. I recommend to arrive there before dark or it will be hard to find the way. The room is nice and clean. I think the restaurant there is a famous place for the locals as well because on the Sunday night it was full booked. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the airport took 10 mins. "

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. "Room seemed to be mostly clean (bathroom and sheets weren't dirty), but not well maintained. It made it feel unclean, scuffed walls, beat up furniture. The wifi doesn't reach the rooms. The traffic can be heard as though the windows are open when they are actually closed. Would not recommend."

"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes.
