Great family friendly place! Wouldn't suggest it for sleeping in too late. The kiddos have a great time biking around the property and almost all of the rooms are exposed to their excitement. They supply tea and water all day...chairs and towels for the beach. Very friendly staff. VERY safe.

Highly Recommend Lodge on the Cove!

The stay was great! The room was large. The beds were super comfortable and all of the family friendly activities available on the property were really cool. The smores kits every day were a nice touch! We also took advantage of the 15 minute walk to town and 11 minute walk to the beach! Loved our stay!

Family friendly, full of amenities. Excellent spot for families, not for couples looking for quiet or pool space. Bicycles available to ride to beach or town. Rooms have doors with windows so that people/kids walking by look right into the room. Pool is full of kids and is part of a pool membership which includes more kids than normal.

The Lodge has a very cool vibe and a nice design, with nice amenities , but it is in need of some attention to the grounds and rooms . Lots of weeds and poor landscaping . The room was clean , but needed painting and there were black marks across the floor . The breakfast consisted of half frozen pastries , yogurt , and coffee . The coffee maker in the room was the cheapest Mr Coffee you can buy and it leaked all over the counter . This place could be amazing , but was not worth the $600+ we paid for it .

Loved this place! Perfect for families. Loved the free bike rentals, free s’mores kits, continental breakfast with amazing muffins and a good variety of board games. Super close to Main Street and all the shops! Highly recommend!

Great spot for kids & families

We had a lovely stay at Lodge on the Cove with two families including 3 children under 4. Our rooms were walkout near the main reception and simple but comfy beds and clean. We really appreciated how “kid friendly” this property was - the pool was great, towels, toys & bottled water readily available, nice continental breakfast with some items available throughout the day for snacks, candy bar, smore kits etc. these small touches really made it feel welcoming! Will recommend & return. Thank you!

We had a nice stay at your lodge. The room size was good, the young man at the front desk was friendly when we checked in, and we appreciated the soft towels and comfortable bed. We were, however, disappointed in the floor of our room. When I went to wipe something up, there was a lot of dirt that came up off the floor. It was rather disgusting! We were not impressed when we went down to the Dory as there was no one there to greet us, even though it was fairly early in the evening. We appreciated that location and we were able to walk into town. They would probably look at other accommodations in the future, considering the price.

We were in room 31 at the end of the run of rooms which was great. Lovely views of the inlet (when the tide was up) and in a beautiful wooded setting. Staff really helpful and room was clean, comfortable and quite large with a sofa and small dining table with kitchen. Also a bath (lower for ease of access) with shower over. Beautiful area all in the woodland and Kennebunkport was a great little town. Can highly recommend.

The room we got had an overpowering smell of bleach, to which we aired out the room for several hours and still never got rid of. Our room was extremely noisy and could hear the road and all the other adjacent rooms. Overall, this felt very low budget and although lodging options in this area are limited, I would have either stayed in a cheaper place from a big hotel chain or a much more expensive. The price to value was not there. Some of the buildings on property were falling apart with wood rot and broken shingles. It felt like a place with fresh coat of paint that underneath had issues. Slept terribly as I felt very uneasy there, would not return. Staff was nice and accomodating and only bonus was the close location to center of town.
