There was confusion over where to eat on the property. we went to eat at the beach restaurant and it was closing so they sent us to the restaurant in the building where we could only get a buffet. there was only 1 elevator and it was not working part of the day and we were on the 4th floor. "Stayed here recently and had a good overall experience. The room was clean and the location is great—very close to the ocean, which was a big plus. Just note, there is no sandy beach here, but it’s perfect if you’re looking to be more secluded and away from the hustle and bustle. The check-in process was quick and easy with no issues. "STAFF AT DOVER BEACH ARE WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMODATING. HOTEL IN GENERAL IS A LITTLE DATED BUT FUNCTIONAL SEEING AS YOU'RE SPENDING MOST OF YOUR TIME ON THE BEACH OR IN THE WATER OR TOURING THIS BEAUTIFUL AND EXTREMELY SAFE ISLAND. KITCHEN LACKED A FEW KEY UTENSILS, DISHES, ETC. ONE NEGATIVE ONLY IS THE PETTY CHARGE OF $3.OO U.S./NIGHT FOR THE SAFE KEY. RESTAURANT FOOD IS EXCELLENT BUT SUPERB OPTIONS OUTSIDE THE HOTEL."
