"Great stay. Clean, very quiet. Check early was no problem. Night manager was also a pleasure to talk with. Staff was very good. Just a great experience. I offered to pay $100.00 dollar deposit in cash so there wouldn't be a 3 day hold on my card, however that wasnt good enough for management. So now im short $100.00 dollars on a 2 day trip. I hope i have enough gas to make it 600 miles. That's my only complaint. Why charge my card for $100.00 dollars if its not needed. A $1 dollar charge is industry standard. My advice is PAY CASH. Then pick it up when you leave "

"Renovated or modernized historic hotels can sometimes have a bit of a mold smell with questionable bathroom cleanliness while The Palace is not like that at all. Beautifully clean throughout. Extras include a wonderful staff, high 1800's ceilings and stained-glass windowpanes here and there. Winning location. Free parking, fast free wi-fi. We will return. Highly recommend."
