"The check in was effortless and quick, once I provided my IHG membership number I was thanked for being a member. The room was spacious, clean with a large bathroom and a shower that had great pressure and hot water. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous and the breakfast was varied and delicious offering a variety of fruit, breads, meats, cheese and a couple of hot dishes. We were offered eggs to order but were happy with what was on offer. The staff at the hotel was wonderful, everyone wanted to ensure that we were properly serviced. We took the shuttle to the airport which left promptly at 8:30 and the driver helped us with our luggage. A very positive experience and we would definitely return."

"The staff was pleasant and the property was clean. However, it is overpriced. They charged us 100 USD to check in at 11 instead of 2 even though we were checking out the next day at 5:30 am. Consistently throughout South America we were able to get an earlier check in time for free. "

"Dint even get to check in as the front staff was to rude and wanted to fight us on all topics . No real manager to speak of . We then asked for a phone number and name of manager to at least call to get some answers and they refused . Hotel not in good shape and not as advertised. Shaddy location and staff. I would not recommend booking or staying here . Even refused my refund for the stay . Luckily expedia did back us up and refunded us with there credit system . Good enough I guess... thanks expedia... booooo Amara hotel "

"My one bed room was medium size and clean. It had a mini fridge, and flat screen TV. The bathroom towels are very nice. Breakfast was basic continental scrambled eggs, rolls, sliced cold cut meats, cereal, milk, three choices of fruit. Coffee and tea. There is a restaurant and small bar with TV on the sixed floor. That's were breakfast is served. I don't like all the noise from the TV and bar it makes it difficult to sleep. The hotel needs to have a quiet time after 9:00pm. The rooms need sound proofing."

"Reservation was straightforward via Hotels.com website, booked single room for $19 USD for 7 hr overnight layover at LIM. Chakana Family messaged pickup avail for $30sol, so I booked for round trip. Whatsapp'ed w Denis for delayed pickup due to very long passport control line, no problems. Place located 15 min from airport parking, definitely too far to walk. Room was small & basic, gen clean several discarded condom wrappers under the bed. Had small fan which kept room tolerable. Denis dropped back to LIM next AM, no issues. Basically got what I paid for. May try out sleeping cabins at airport next time."
