Overall, it was ok. Could have used maintenance on the outside. A lot of noise early in the morning from the adjacent coffee shop. Quite high priced for what it was. Great view of harbor.

Everything was as expected, this is not some major hotel chain, but a quaint little motel. It’s clean and friendly staff. Steps from the harbor, we could take a walk every night!

The check in went relatively smoothly though when we got into our room, it was clear the floor hadn't been vacuumed, an old coffee filter was in the coffee maker, and old food from former guests was in the fridge. The first problem was dealt with right away, but we didn't discover the other issues till later. The room itself was clean and met our needs.

Went to hotel, sign saying go to pub next door to check-in. Girl was good. Directed not back to the hotel but to another property a block away. Pretty run down, paper thin walls, mattress was so worn I had to sleep in the middle of the bed, coffee maker didn’t work. Interior hadn’t seen a coat of paint in many years. But, it wasn’t expensive, conveniently located.

Big clean room with separate sofa area. Outside table with view. Quick check in is next door at the pub. At the waterfront next to a Marina. Outside is a little rustic but very good value for the price . Very comfortable bed and pillows

Location is great. Right on the harbor. Easy walk to restaurants, brew pub, coffee shop. We had two rooms that ended up in two different buildings. Both rooms are basic but priced right. Room 9 was fine. Room 2 had a slight (smoke ?) smell. The lady that checked us in was friendly. Check in only took a minute. Fun town too.

The room was much better than what we expected from the outside appearance. The couch was very worn and uncomfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. With no windows that could open we had to keep the door open with the floor fans running to provide some air flow. As the day was cool, that was okay but it would be uncomfortable on the occasional hot summer day. There were some excellent places to eat close by. We enjoyed the Devil's Bath Brewing for dinner - excellent pizzas and beers.

Very easy check-in and we had a pet so that was good. Just had some housekeeping issues with the fact that the fridge and coffee maker, etc. have not been cleaned. Tasos was very helpful and responded immediately to phone calls.

I stayed on the Sportsman side (Gus’s Pub runs both that and the McNeill Inn to my knowledge) and I had absolutely zero issues, staff was very kind and helpful, room was very clean, spacious enough for two at least, my only gripe was no A/C, but as expected with a motel of that age, BUT there IS a fan in the room, they are located in the closet and sadly we didn’t see it till our last night, but I will say it helps a LOT on those hot days/nights, location is perfect, right by the marina with a gorgeous view, and a very short walk from Gus’s Pub, the coffee shop, and the brewery/restaurant, and would 100% stay there again the next time we take a trip to the area

The room was large enough and the bed was comfortable, but there was only one window and it did not open. We turned the heat off but the only way to cool the place was by leaving the door wide open. There was a fan available to circulate stale air but absolutely no means to get fresh air into the room. Isn’t there building codes regarding this? The location was however perfect for easy access to the waterfront and restaurants.

We stayed 6 nights. Housekeeping never came. We called every day when we returned to our room. They would bring towels and clean coffee cups (only when called). Room was never cleaned. Bed never made, etc. they say amenities on their website. Good luck receiving soap, shampoo, tolit paper etc. everything is run from the bar. The staff at the bar were very polite and friendly. Overall, we would not recommend.

The staff was great! But the rooms itself not so much. Mold in the tub (my husband got sick from it). Hair on the bed. The bedsheets seem to have not been changed. Had to ask for fresh linens. You have to play with the water to make sure you have good water pressure. Sometimes there is no water come out of the shower but mostly comes out on the tap. Overall, it was a let down. Especially with the mold issue. It would have been nice if we moved to a different rooms like we asked but they didn’t have another available room.
