"Warm welcome. Lovely couple providing impeccable hospitality through our stay...a perfect weekend away with the wife and some much needed R and R away from our busy lives back home. "Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. The bathroom windows were in desperate need of repair, and mould cleaner, which may be the reason why there were silverfish in the bathroom. The final straw for us was the view of all the bins from the bedroom window! I'm sure it's got more to offer but we won't be going back to find out. We did mention all of the above on checkout and she was going to send maintenance to have a look so hopefully the next guests don't have the same issues."
