A great family getaway

The host (Ann) was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent and the location gives you convenient access to destinations.

This B and B was simply amazing from top to bottom. Ann, our host was easily available before and during our stay. Our room was immaculate and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful with many different sitting areas in a park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Ann went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made many good suggestions for our visit to Ypres. We highly recommend this B and B!

Amazing stay

What a beautiful place ; one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in and the grounds were so well kept . The town is very quiet not much to do but if you looking for a nice peaceful break . Highly recommend it

Het was een super fijn weekend. Prachtige omgeving en de b&b is gewoon top door de inzet en voorkomendheid van de gastvrouw. Ze maakt het echt iedereen naar hun zin. Heel uitgebreid n lekker ontbijt. Alles heel vers...veel keuze. Gewoon een aanrader !

The B&B De Rentmeesterhoeve is fantastic; stay there and enjoy the best of Flanders. I was there with 2 mates to explore the battlefields of Flanders before celebrating the centenary of the Armistice. An old bailiff’s residence next to the local Catholic Church, the overall décor and appearance of the rooms and dining area is very comfortable and full of interesting things. Ann who runs the place is a superb host. She makes her own truffles and sweets for guests to enjoy, and leaves a bedside treat each night for an evening snack – a superb piece of cake etc. She serves a very tasty and grand breakfast spread – eggs, cheese, juice, tea, coffee, hams, baguettes, jams etc etc. Reningelst is only about 5kms outside Ypres and is ideally situated as a base to view the Flanders battlefields, as well as local restaurants in neighbouring villages. Ann recommended we go to In der Zon - which was the best meal we had in our travels in France. Highly recommended+++.

Wij hebben 2 nachten verbleven met ontbijt. Deze B&B overtrof al onze verwachtingen. 1)Super vriendelijke gastvrouw met een passie voor haar B&B. En dat merk je op tot in de details. 2)Het ontbijt is heerlijk en biedt lekkere lokale producten aan van eigen kweek (zelf gemaakte confituur, chocopasta, yoghurt, boerenboter,...) 3)De kamers zijn geweldig en bieden alles wat je nodig hebt: badlinnen, zeep, shampoo, body lotion, haardroger (zelfs voor krullen), badjassen en slippers,... het bed is heel erg comfortabel. 4)De locatie is erg rustig en je bereikt er de lekkerste restaurantjes van de streek op een 10 min afstand. De rentmeesterhoeve biedt mits een kleine vergoeding een Vespa aan, waarmee je de prachtige omgeving kan verkennen. De vespa/wagen is de ideale manier om dit te doen, omdat je dan kan genieten van alle bezienswaardigheden in de streek. 5)We hadden een haard in onze kamer, wat zorgt voor een extra portie romantiek. Een echte aanrader voor als je er even tussenuit wil zijn. Niets meer dan lof voor deze B&B. Wij komen absoluut terug en bevelen het aan iedereen aan! Iedereen moet hier geweest zijn om de ervaring "top B&B" mee te maken. Dankjewel Ann.

Beautiful B&B situated next to an old church and a pond with a swan and ducks and deer in the back yard. Exceptional attention to detail with robes and slippers in the room, literature on the area provided and explained by the owner and lovely treats provided in your room during the day. We enjoyed our stay very much!

A Superb Experience.

My three day stay was excellent with the frienliest of wellcomes and assistance with advice on the local areas I had to visit. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The setting idyllic and relaxing. I fully recommend to anybody.

Quiet and peaceful stay

Excellent B&B! Very quite area. I recommend eating dinner at the B&B as there are no restaurants in the village. She can suggest places to eat but you will have to drive to them. Place is immaculate and spotless. Super friendly staff, i highly suggest you go there!

Quiet oasis in Belgium

Anne is an amazing host and he B & B is wonderful. Greeted with a local aperitif we were given an overview of local history sites we were interested in as well as dining recommendations. Our nightly sweet treat never disappointed. We would gladly come back a second time.
