"Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite. Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"Older property showing some wear and tear. Check in wasn’t too great, as we waited over 20 minutes with no one at the desk and were continually told they were having a busy day. While that’s okay, an option to leave our bags would have been nice. The staff acted a bit annoyed (two people separately) when I asked to check in, but the manager who eventually came was kind and helpful. The room was very warm (early August) with no cross breeze. "A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."

"The property is situated in a quiet setting and just a few minutes walk from the magnificent seafront. Being a Inn and a weekend stay.. quite busy during the day and early evening, but to be expected. Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was to a very good standard.
