"Condo was a great size. Separate bedroom. A few things needed attention; kitchen faucet was in bad shape. Door handle came off to outside deck, but was quickly replaced. Quite a few restaurants and stores were closed, but this is not the busy season. A lot of construction going on, again getting ready for the winter season"

"We were hesitant at first after we read all the bad reviews but we were happy once we got there. We were on the 6th floor with the beautiful view of the lake. The building is dated and needs a lot of work to make it up to date. The beds are okay with clean sheets. The bathroom with the shower is just the right size and with white clean towels. The staff are nice. The building is in the middle of Tahoe City walking distance to all the restaurants and shops and most especially to the lake. We got there early since we need to be at the church wedding by 2pm. We were directed to go to Basecamp (their sister company) so we can change and get ready for the wedding since Pepper Tree Inn staff won’t be there till 3pm. We were very happy with our stay at Pepper Tree Inn."

"The place was really nice. We did have a couple issues though. The sink was clogged when we first used it, not sure how housekeeping didn't catch it. They had to come fix it before we could even brush our teeth that night. But at least they had someone available immediately to fix it. The conditioner dispenser was empty, again housekeeping missed that too. Two dogs next door were barking early and woke us up. I'm sure hotel policy is not to leave pets unattended but someone did"

"This property was very nice. Located in a pine forest near Tahoe City, CA. Pricing was fair. The studio we rented for two nights was very clean and well furnished even though it was a little dated. Enjoyed all the amenities. We will be back."
