Thanks for your review and feedback. We are glad that you liked the friendly service and that you were happy with the price as we think 7 US dollars is a great deal for a room. However we are sorry you found your room damp. In the monsoon all over Nepal we have so much rain and high humidity it makes everything feel a little damp. Our more expensive rooms on the upper floors are more airy and fresh and a better alternative if you have allergies. As for the mattress we are always happy to change mattresses for guests if they want a firmer mattress. There is some construction happening close by but is actually limited between 8am to 5pm. We do hope it will be finished soon but I have to stress there is a lot of construction happening all over Lakeside. The power in Pokhara is usually not a problem these days although there were some city electricity problems when you were here. For longer power cuts we do have a generator and so can run fans even when the power is off. And about the drinking water refills we do charge a small amount for these - less than 15 cents a liter – as we buy genuine drinking water from a reputable source. We do not make a profit from the water it simply covers our costs as we prefer to keep our room prices low. Thank you ! sacred valley management
