Lovely welcome, nice clean comfy bed and room. Great cooked breakfast. Very near the waterfront and beautiful park. Good value for money. Would defently stay again. Thank you.
FANTASTIC VALUE ,very warm and comfortable and very friendly also allowed us to bring the dog.and a good choice for breakfast. tea and coffee in room and tv and wifi meter parking almost outside and overnight reasonable with option to extend after 8 am would stay again
Read the small print before booking, as even though rooms are advertised as ensuite, they may not have a bathroom.
Room was a tad crowded with furniture and didn't have any sound proofing (neighbours tv came through very clear, as did the plumbing).
Light above the sink didn't work in the room and the communal bathroom (which was down a flight of steps) was very tight - no elbow room in the shower.
Location wise, it's super close to the sea front and the Hoe. Walkable to town, but I'd suggest getting a taxi for the train station.
Welcoming, clean, good position, lovely breakfast couldn’t believe how good it was for so little money!

Remember to bring.....well, everything!
Every other place I have stayed provides shampoo and shower gel, not here. Every other place was an en-suite, not here (I should have checked the listing better). Worse still, the bathroom is actually just a shower cubical with not nearly enough space to get changed or dry which leads to an embarrassing dash back to your room hastily covering your modesty with a clean, but only too small towel.
I have actually stayed twice before at this place, but had an en-suite each time, so I made the assumption. Still, it wasn't totally clear when booking (maybe stating 'shared bathroom' would help).
The decor is tired and dull. There was a sink in my room, however, the shaving light cover had melted and the carpet was not totally clean. There was too much furniture in the room and was badly positioned with a double and single bed leaving little room for manoeuvre. A little more insulation between rooms would be of great benefit after a night of listening to the neighbouring TV blaring through the wall. Overall, I am less than impressed this time.
Was it just the particular room I had and the experience of shared facilities? What price did I pay? £30.00. so maybe, I just payed the right amount for what I received. This is why I go to a b&b in the first place: Value for money. So I'll put up with all the above because this place isn't pretending to be the Ritz. Just don't forget some shampoo when you stay here.
The accomodation was great. However, despite informing about my time of arrival, I stayed locked outside for almost an hour before checking at midnight. They claimed there was issue with my card, which I dont understand. Meanwhile, the reservation was that I will pay at the guest house. Aside that, everything was fine. Its a great accomodation
Good value guest house close to sea front. Comfortable bed, quiet and clean. Good breakfast. The location is convenient and on street parking is available.
Easy to find, our bicycles could stay inside, and service was accurate & friendly. Beds a little soft to our taste, but allright. And ofcourse a great cooked breakfast.
I was given a lovely warm welcome, my dietary requirements and special requests were cheerily met for breakfast, and the room was comfortable and well-served with WiFi. It was fantastically close to the coast, which I wish I'd had more time to exploit – but it was also just a 10min walk (if you're fit enough to cope with the Plymouth rise, of course...) from the high street, 20min from the train station.
My only misgiving is that the room was described as en suite, but the only en suite feature was a sink. Toilet and shower were further down the corridor, and also rather small – if I'd had some of the physical disabilities suffered by other members of my family (e.g. ME, recent knee replacement), I might not have been able to use them.
