"If you want to stay in a small characterful boutique hotel in a very pleasant area of Cheltenham then look no further. The hotel has a very welcoming feel and all members of staff we met were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really lovely lounge area and if we were staying longer, I would have definitely used it as a quiet reading spot, likewise the small courtyard area adjacent to the restaurant. "We stayed in one of the hotels premier suites. It was too big! The decor and design were dated and the lighting and airconditioning problematic. The huge bed had sheets that weren't fitted and the bedspread wasn't very clean and had hairs and dust in evidence. "Beautifully maintained property with expansive grounds and hiking trails that cross the property and so it is brilliant for walking and dogs. The room we had was exceptional and came with a small garden which again was heaven for the dog. The stay in a place like this is always about the staff though, who were great. "It was an okay hotel. We paid for continental breakfast and there was barely any food left and the station was messy. Ended up ordering dishes at an extra charge. Not sure it was worth a £300 stay. "

"The room we stayed in was just right size and comfy, with fast Wi-Fi and everything we need. The bathroom was okay, but the shower area only had a curtain to keep things in, which wasn’t the best. The breakfast was great, with lots of hot food to choose from, and you could even order from the kitchen. The cleaning could use a bit more work, though—there were visible stains on the toilet and heavy stains on the tea kettle."
