"Clean room with spare blankets for colder night but room was warm. Bed was an actual double/queen not two singles pushed together. Shower had good pressure with extraction fan. Pub close had good deals with friendly helpful staff (shout out to wendy for helping with postage and other local questions) Breakfast had a good selection, was quick for service and tasted good."

"We got a great last minute deal. The hotel is easy to find with ample parking to the rear. We checked in and headed to our room. It was small but clean. It had a large smart TV, a large bed, coffee and tea making facilities, a clean and modern bathroom, a safe and complimentary water. I would have liked a wardrobe or hooks on the wall to hang up our clothes/ stow our luggage but it's not a deal breaker. The hotel had a pool and gym that we checked out but didn't use. "It was a clean room. The photos did differ from the actual room. We had no heat on the first night, so that was challenging. However, the next day, Zoe was such a blessing and they were able to fix the heat. She also provided a portable heater in the meantime that they get it fixed. We appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast - it might be best to have some disposable spoons for the oats.
