They do have the option to check in and out using their online service which they email 24 hours before you check in or out. In person check in process easy, there is a $200 refundable deposit. If you are on the first floor you might hear the floor noise above if they are rolling their luggage or pulling a chair out. Other than that it is quiet."

"Met our needs as a basic apartment hotel. Staff very friendly and place clean. Check in quick. Noise due to street traffic and location but to be expected when so close to tourist areas and China town. We were not concerned about the noise as we wanted to be walkable to attractions and dining in Victoria without a rental car. Very easy to get around downtown Victoria."

The hotel notifies you when you book that the rooms don't have air conditioning and certain rooms look out over the street and harbor and can be a little noisy if you keep the window open. "Not a long walk to downtown (although I am an avid walker). The hotel isn’t modern by any means but the staff have always been kind, attentive and professional. The rooms are clean and everything works. Wifi is good. There’s no view and some traffic noise, but it is convenient to arrive at from the ferry—for those wanting a downtown Victoria experience. "
