"I loved every bit of this hotel down to the little things . Room was clean and they offer to change daily if you want .breakfast buffet was off the charts with soo many options which I loved . Staff was very friendly and helpful . Very serene and quiet around the hotel which was important for me . It’s walkable to beach and the old town so it’s perfect to do many things around without a car"

"This was my very first time in Europe and in a hostel. I stayed in a private suite on the main level.(right next to the common area) It was absolutely amazing! Super clean and well maintained. Air conditioning in my room worked well, however I do know some others in the dorm did say theirs didn’t work great. Due to the proximity to the common area and the street outside it was noisy at times, so ear plugs definitely helped. Free breakfast was great and awesome way to meet people, rooftop pool...

"Not in the old town in Lagos but it was really good and accessible to the two good beaches of Dona Ana and Ponta de Piedade. Room was clean, breakfast buffet was complete, and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming . Personally I will recommend it to anyone who wants to have included full breakfast, comfortable place to rest in, and want to use amenities. We didn’t use the amenities much because we were exploring all the time. But this hotel is provably one of the best ones to chill in as...

"We had a nice stay with Solar de Mos. The property is beautiful but our room was smaller than expected but I do know all rooms are slightly different. It’s a very cute boutique hotel that has preserved its beauty over the years. The pool is stunning, clean and we loved the pink hotel with yellow seating. Our rooms felt very clean but the blankets were very thin and not the most comfortable. Also to close the doors you have to slam them shut, which makes it hard to sleep in the morning when...

"We asked front desk for an excursion and they reserved it for us. After the excursion, we went back to tell them that the things that we were told would happen on the excursion never happened. The person at the front desk responded with, “well you should’ve asked for it” instead of apologizing. Never offered to help resolve the issue with the company that they booked."

"All staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay; the hotel was simple, but we got everything we needed. There’s a convenience store open till 23:30, so that’s also very nice. A 15- 30-minute walk to the beaches, depending on which one you want. A side note: we asked for an airport transfer service beforehand, and I lost my hat somewhere, so I emailed them before and after my stay, but they don’t seem to be checking their mailbox… so it might be a bit hard for international guests...

"While we enjoyed our stay, this resort is tired and dated. I expected a luxurious resort and did not find that. It just feels old and in need of renovations and improvements. We were very disappointed with the accommodations. The first room we had didn't look anything like the photos so they kindly moved us to a larger villa, but that was of equal vintage and while larger, was further away and isolated. The staff however was very kind and helpful."

"Fijn appartement, erg schoon. Voldoende linnengoed en handdoeken. De locatie was goed, alles zat op loopafstand voor winkels en restaurants (centrum van Lagos). Er zijn ook voldoende parkeerplekken voor de deur (wel tegen betaling binnen bepaalde tijdstippen). Het inchecken verliep ook vlot en aardig personeel. "

"Lovely low rise hotel. Vast swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers. Close to the sandy beach. Children’s pool and play area are good. Breakfast buffet good. Family rooms large and led straight on to the gardens. Gluten free dietary needs well catered for."
