"The staff are very professional and personable - they make a great first impression. The hotel has a private pool overlooking the ocean. The property and room designs are unique and comfortable. They are also clean and well maintained. I think OceanBlue is a great place to stay and can take their service to the next level with an improved restaurant menu. They can maintain a small, curated menu with more flavor and presentation that matches the quality of the hotel design and surroundings."

"Arrived around 7.30 therabouts. Checked in given the room. Tv does not work, air condition blowing warm breeze, water dripping from a/c unit onto fridge then dripping onto the floor, ice falling out the a/c unit. Notified front desk asked to be put in another room. They say no rooms available. Sent guy to fix. Tv started to work. A/c still not fixed. I said i not complaining is only five nights .To use the vault.3us dollars per day. Nonsense. I have been travelling for years never came across...

"As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear....

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked.
